1963 Print Guadalcanal Campaign Kokumbona Body Dead World War II Howard Brodie XGAG7 a product by The KentThis is an original 1963 halftone print of the road to Kokumbona during the Guadalcanal Campaign. Shown in the illustration is Howard Brodie's first look of a war victim, which was so mutilated after being driven over by the trucks, that it appeared to be part of the roadbed. Brodie wrote on the subject, "I walked back from Kokumbona and followed the smells to the swollen bodies in the brush near the road. After sketching a few, I no longer felt the
