La Araucaria Blanco is made from a single plot of Listan Blanco vineyards named “Hacienda Perdida” planted on Mount Teide’s northern slopes in the unique cordón trenzado (“braided cord”) method

which gives all the complexity to this wine according to Fornerot

The bunches are kept whole and fermented spontaneously and carbonically with a short maceration and no sulfur

planted to old-vine Pinot Noir on shallow clay-limestone soils

and fine lees texture

2023 Domaine Renaud Boyer Macon Prety sur un Nuage Maconnais, France Domaine Auchere La Araucaria Blanco is madeRenaud Boyer, originally from Meursault trained to be an engineer before switching careers and becoming a vigneron of land in Saint Romain, previously belonging to uncle Thierry Guyot, an organics enthusiast who had been working the vines free of chemicals since the 1980's. Renaud's wines are seen as strong competition to some of the famous names in the region. The vines are divided over Beaune, Puligny Montrachet and Saint Romain. 20hl ha, indigenous
