Purple & Jonquil Antique Glass Beads, 1700's red-orange This Chinese Mandarin knotted coral5" strand of light purple and jonquil glass vaseline beads made in The Netherlands in the late 1700's early 1800's and traded in Mali, West Africa. Assorted shape, size and colors, 12 beads. Purple beads, referred to as "Television Beads" by African dealers, are very rare. Some of the beads have some calcification. Very rich subtle colors and unique shapes! Graduated strand 11mm 16mm diameter.
