Our Sacred Huia Dish art promotes a healthier skin barrier🌿ExcellentThis beautiful illustrated bone china dish is from Tutukaka based creative Katy Hayward. Featuring a female (long beak) & male (short beak) huia bird perched amongst native puriri and phutukawa flora. Huia are one of Aotearoa's most treasured and now sadly extinct native birds. They were once the largest of Aotearoa's wattlebird species, known for their beautiful song, their predominantly black glossy feathers and long tail feathers tipped with white.
