This is a very rare totally original M1916 holster, made by Sears Saddlery Co. of Davenport, Iowa, in excellent condition. It shows very little sign of being used, with just a bit of wear on the interior. It is marked SEARS on the back, and embossed U S in an oval on the flap, indicating that this was a military issue holster. No visible date can be found.
