This is a substantial Spirits Flask constructed from Pewter with a screw top and a large cover which could double as a drinking vessel. It measures 7" X 4" X 1 1 2" deep. The Screw Cap has a cork liner so the flask was probably intended to carry Brandy on long bombing runs.
