This is a very nice classic Lionhead German WWII Army Officers sword, made by the well known firm of F. W. Hller, Waffenfabrik, of Solingen, Germany, complete with its original scabbard. The sword has a later war gilt aluminum alloy hilt, and in this case, it looks like parts of it may have been zinc plated instead of brass plated before gilding. The guard definitely shows a brass under layer, but the grip looks very
