This is a gorgeous example of an Early American powder horn with lovely tack construction as well as a retained suspension ring. There is also a small bit of the original string wrapped around the mouth. The horn measures roughly 8 long. It has lovely brass tack construction with 16 tacks holding the wooden bottom in place, with one tack missing. The mouthpiece is well carved but is missing the plug. There is a crack
