Here we have a lovely German Jger Hunting Rifle, which were very popular hunting pieces during the 18th and 19th centuries. They were very well made, as well as being relatively small and highly accurate. This is definitely a "High Grade" example, with some fantastic appointments, and is marked on the top of the barrel by the maker: ULRICH ROOS UND SOHN IN STUTTGART This is a known maker of Jger Rifles and pistols
